Elisha Abas protégé of Maestro Artur Rubinstein and life long student of Pnina Salzman, Israel's First Lady of Piano, had his first debut at Carnegie Hall at the age of 11 with Leonard Bernstein. His rare interpretations and authentic spirit that he most likely inherited from his great-great grandfather, Alexander Scriabin, remind you of the old masters. In the first half of his life, Elisha accomplished what usually takes musicians, a lifetime to achieve. By the time Elisha was eight, he had already earned the respect and honor of being considered a colleague of great masters such as Isaac Stern, Zubin Mehta, Maestro Artur Rubinstein, and Leonard Bernstein. Amongst his many accomplishments, Elisha performed with Israel Philharmonic Orchestra with Zubin Mehta; recorded a solo recital for the Voice of Israel (Kol Israel, the National Radio Broadca sting); appeared in a documentary with and about Artur Rubinstein's friends. His early career starts at The Jerusalem Conservatory of Music at the age of four where he studied under Ms. Ester Medvetsky. Soon after he began to study with the late Pnina Salzman, who became his life long teacher until December 2006. Elisha has performed in venues all over the world including The Royal Albert Hall, Carnegie Hall, as well as private performances for Yitzhak Navon and the exiled queen of Italy, Maria Jose di Savoia.
